I purchased my 58 Corvette in 1981. I originally purchased her as a 'driver' since I had a 59 that was 'too nice' to drive. After getting her home and checking all of the numbers and options (such as: automatic transmission, dual quads, power windows, power soft top as well as the auxiliary hardtop). I realized this was my real keeper. At that point I decided to sell my 59 and began work on the 58.
After completing a body on restoration she took an NCRS Top Flight, and even more satisfying to me was the fact she was awarded the 'ladies choice' award at the same meet. After that, she has been on the road except for her stint in the National Corvette Museum. You might have seen her in the Mobil station!
