Geared Up for the Z06 Fest Event

September 10 - 12, 2009

 

Get ready for the Z06 Fest event – September 10-12 and enjoy everything you want and need at an event focusing on speed and performance! Back by popular demand and co-hosted by Z06VETTE.com, this exciting event brings together enthusiasts for three-days of festivities geared towards performance.

Drag racing, auto cross, tech sessions, seminars, road tours, poker run, scavenger hunt, a banquet and auction and much more are planned, with a special focus on the Z06 Corvette!

• Thursday begins with a scenic road tour/lunch D-A-R-T run to “Dovie’s”. This is a “drive your own Corvette” excursion and is limited to 48 participants. Z06Vette.com is running their annual Makers Mark tour; for additional information contact Mark Dickie. Other activities on Thursday include Museum tours and a digital scavenger hunt.
• Friday’s lineup is packed full of activities and the day will begin Drag Racing at Beech Bend Raceway! You must pre-register to participate and spectators are welcome for a gate fee of $5 payable at Beech Bend. Or you can tour the South Central KY area taking part in a Poker Run. In the afternoon enjoy the people’s/celebrity choice car show, group photo, seminars and for more fun!
• Saturday morning kicks off an exciting day of low-speed autocross at Trace Diecast. Gates open at 8:15 a.m. and the cost to participate is $20 per person - you must be pre-registered to participate – space is limited to only 40 participants. A scenic road tour including lunch and a free guided tour in the afternoon add to the day’s activities. A live auction offering unique collectibles is part of the evening enjoyment of good food and camaraderie when we host the Z06 Banquet in our new Conference Center !
