LT1: Bourbon & Coke Scenic Tour

A drive along the famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail this tour makes a stop at the Lincoln Birthplace National Park on the way to Bardstown KY, the home of several bourbon distillers.  We will stop at Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center for a tour and tasting of Kentucky’s signature product before heading to E'town and the Schmidt Coca Cola Museum for tour and lunch

  • Departs from lot D at BG Assembly Plant

LT2: Bluegrass and BBQ Scenic Tour

Travel to Western Kentucky and the heart of Bluegrass music so named for its Kentucky origins.  Bluegrass legend Bill Monroe was born and lived just outside of Owensboro which is the fitting home of the International Bluegrass Museum.  And what more authentic way to take a break than lunch at the famous Moonlight BBQ.

Enjoy downtown Bowling Green as the merchants roll out the red carpet for you!

  • Drink tickets will be available at our registration booth, 3 for $5, and the tickets can be redeemed at participating businesses on the square. 
  • Seven establishments will offer wine, beer and munchies, and the proceeds go to the Capitol Arts Theatre.
  •  Many merchants will stay open late just for you, and there will be demonstrations like:
    •  pouring your own candle at Candle Makers on the Square
    • clay turning at The Pots Place
    • free horse drawn carriage rides.
  • Morris Jewelry will be having a drawing to win one of ten Sterling Silver “Jakes” with a silver chain.  Get your tickets to enter for a donation of only $5 with proceeds also going to the theatre.
