We visit landmarks along the Lincoln Heritage Trail including his birthplace, the Lincoln Museum in Hodgenville, the family homestead in Springfield passing through towns and along routes significant to Lincoln 's history.

A driving tour through the scenic KY farmland, with a brief stop at Abraham Lincoln's birthplace en route to Bardstown KY. Tour the home and grounds where Stephan Foster got his inspiration for his song My Old Kentucky Home. Continue on to the town of Glendale which is filled with antique and craft shops along with the famous Whistle Stop Cafe.

A leisurely road tour in the Bowling Green area to one of the last Shaker communities where a docent in period dress will give a detailed guided tour. Following the tour we travel to the Federal Grove B&B and a great home-cooked meal.

LT4: Makers Mark Scenic Tour and Lunch
Visit the heart of the Bourbon country with a road tour to the famous Makers Mark Distillery. Traveling along the scenic back roads of farmland and small towns until you arrive at the Makers Mark home site. There you will get a tour of the bourbon making process, see and taste the corn mash, watch the bourbon being bottled and waxed and see where the angels get their share. Finish with a tasting, a chance to dip your own bottle and lunch.

A driving tour through the scenic KY farmland to Kenny's Cheese Shop for a tour of how to make cheese and to sample and shop his wide variety of cheeses. From Kenny's Cheese we will drive south for lunch at Chef's Market in Goodlettsville, TN. And then on to Sumner Crest Winery for locally produced wine

LT5: Heaven Hill Bourbon & Coke Road Tour
A drive along the famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail this tour makes a stop at the Lincoln Birthplace National Park on the way to Bardstown KY , the home of several bourbon distillers.  We will stop at Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center for a tour and tasting of Kentucky 's signature product before heading to E'town and the Schmidt Coca Cola Museum for tour and lunch.

LT6: Bluegrass Museum & Moonlite BBQ Road Tour
Travel to Western Kentucky and the heart of Bluegrass music so named for its Kentucky origins.  Bluegrass legend Bill Monroe was born and lived just outside of Owensboro which is the fitting home of the International Bluegrass Museum .  And what more authentic way to take a break than lunch at the famous Moonlite BBQ.

We visit landmarks along the Lincoln Heritage Trail including his birthplace, the Lincoln Museum in Hodgenville, the family homestead in Springfield passing through towns and along routes significant to Lincoln 's history.

A scenic drive through South Central KY Cave Country with a visit to Diamond Caverns, a cave that is still growing. Following the cave visit lunch will be served at nearby Park Mammoth Resort.
