Come Celebrate With Us over Labor Day Weekend

The 14 th Anniversary of the National Corvette Museum will be celebrated August 28 - 30, 2008. Join us in celebrating our anniversary at an event that unites friends, family and enthusiasts for a look back on the Museum's history and future! This year's agenda includes road tour excursions, special video presentations, a poker run, seminars, Corvette raffle, Celebrity Choice car show, auctions, the annual open Membership meeting and more! The event will also include the Lifetime/VIP dinner with entertainment, a 10-year/15-year member recognition, Ambassador Breakfast, and the Corvette Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and banquet during which we will induct Allan and Don Barker, Reeves Callaway and Maurice Olley into the Hall of Fame.
Thursday's events include a Lincoln Heritage Scenic Tour and Lunch, a Makers Mark Scenic Road Tour and Lunch and a GPS Poker Run. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and runs throughout the day. Be sure to include a tour of the Museum and play our “Pit Crew Challenge” while you are visiting.
Friday's schedule includes the Ambassador's breakfast, a silent auction, seminars conducted by and about the 2008 Corvette Hall of Fame Inductees, a live Auction and the Hall of Fame Induction Banquet. Be sure to add the Corvette Hall of Fame to your registration package – a memorable evening is in store for everyone present.
On Saturday, the final day of the Celebration, events include autocross, a Wine & Cheese Scenic Tour and Lunch, a Celebrity Choice Car Show, recognition of 10 and 15-Year Members, an open membership and board meeting and the 2009 Corvette Coupe Raffle. Tickets are only $10 each and the drawing will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday evening!
The 14 th Anniversary Celebration will come to a close Saturday night with the Lifetime Member Dinner. Lifetime members must pre-register to the event and include this as part of their registration plans. There will be lots of fun and live entertainment planned at this festive part of the event held in the Museum's Amphitheater!
The deadline to register for the event is August 11, 2008. Make sure you are signed onto NCM eNews to be notified about the event. Those pre-registered for the weekend will receive the event dash plaque and lapel pin, as well as a personalized event badge. As in previous years, the Labor Day event will be a “members only” event. Everyone registering for the Anniversary Celebration who is not already an NCM member will become one as part of the registration process.
