We are thrilled to once again host the Corvette Forum Cruise-In May 21-23 and welcome back enthusiasts of this passionate internet forum group! This unique event is open to all automotive/Corvette enthusiasts and is a weekend of fun, festivities and excitement that celebrates the Corvette lifestyle!
The event activities planned include exciting road tours and excursions, the 2010 Corvette model year introduction, autocross, tours of our new expansion area, car show/awards, scenic tour/poker tour, seminars, digital scavenger hunt, golf cart autocross live auction, and more. Join us as we kick off the activities on Thursday, May 21 with an Antiques & Crafts scenic road tour through South Central Kentucky. This activity is open to pre-registered participants only and limited to 68 people. This is a “drive your own Corvette” experience and a great way to start your weekend activities. For our cigar aficionados we bring you a tour to CAO Cigar Manufacturers in Nashville, TN. This unique and brand new tour will include lunch. The day also includes poker run fun, and guided tours of the newly expanded Museum!
Friday's activities start early with Gordon's C4 Trouble Shooting School available throughout the event and seminars including one that will help you learn more on servicing your C5. There will also be an informative presentation by our very own PDI Supervisor David Smith. Join us in the new Conference Center inside the Museum and see and hear the whys and wherefores of Corvette Detailing first-hand from our PDI guru. Show and shine for the People's Choice Car Show presented by Corvetteforum.com and be sure to mark your spot at the event by being a part of the event group photo in the new logo area at the newly added entrance of the Museum. Join other enthusiasts and race with skill to beat the clock for the Pit Crew Challenge playoff in the racing area of the Museum. The evening caps off with the annual Roscoe's BBQ relocated to the new NCM Conference Center. Participants combine the chance to unite and enjoy the camaraderie that keeps the forum active in celebrating and enjoying the Corvette Lifestyle with the chance to bid on some really neat collectibles and racing items. Seating is limited to be sure to register and be ready to arrive early for a good seat.
Saturday's activities start with autocross fun at Trace Die Cast – pre-registration is required. A scenic road tour and lunch excursion is planned from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is a “drive your own Corvette” excursion. Only 40 participants can enjoy this outing so pre-register quickly to mark your spot. Get your cameras and be ready in the afternoon for the introduction of the 2010 Corvettes! Located in the new logo circle and presented by the BG Assembly Plant – this is your chance to get up close and personal and see what's new for Corvette! Sharpen your skills and driving experience and take part in the 2 person driving thrills of Golf Cart Autocross in the afternoon. If you have never participated as a blind folded driver or navigator in this challenging sport – then be sure to join us.
These exciting activities are in store for participants of the 2009 Corvette Forum Cruise-In. We hope you can join us. The event is co-hosted by Corvetteforum.com
