Participants in the 2008 R8C/Xperience Reunion are in for a totally new NCM event experience. This year event registrants will meet in Bowling Green on Thursday morning, September 25 th ready to caravan to Asheville North Carolina for a tour of Biltmore and the surrounding grounds. But that is only part of the event ! The road trip will be an event in itself and one that participants will truly enjoy!

Leaving Bowling Green down I-65 and then east on I-40, the caravan will exit the interstate just before Knoxville , Tennessee and wind down back roads in the Great Smokey mountains on famous TN-129, aka “Tail of the Dragon”. This famous road crossing the mountains has 318 turns in only 11 miles. As some people have said, if you look in the mirror you'll see yourself coming through the turns! Continuing along on the beautiful roads along the edge of the Cherokee National Forest , the group will spend the first night in Cherokee North Carolina.

The second day starts with free time to sightsee in town and on the Cherokee Reservation. Some of our group may even want to research their family history here. Leaving Cherokee , participants will head to scenic Maggie Valley to visit the town and have lunch. From Maggie Valley the caravan will head south and east crossing the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Pisgah National Forest stopping at some of the beautiful and scenic waterfalls that the area is famous for. After a full day of sightseeing and cruising roads in one of the most scenic areas of the country, they will arrive in Asheville for a good nights rest before resuming their exciting itinerary.

The registration cost is $695 for NCM Member and $760 for non-NCM Members, but includes a 1 year Family Membership to the National Corvette Museum. Registration includes 2 people, but select Add a Guest and enter your guests first, last and badge name. If you would like to purchase t-shirts please select them for you and your guest. Registration also includes 1 hotel room for 3 nights, tickets to Biltmore estate and lunch at the Deer Park Restaurant on the Biltmore grounds.
