Vets ‘n Vettes Event

Honoring Those Who Fought For Our Freedom

November 7-8, 2008

The National Corvette Museum is proud to host the first “Vets ‘n Vettes” Event in honor of the many men and women who have gave so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy each day. This memorable event features two days of activities planned to experience Bowling Green , the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant along with commemorative activities planned with a Veterans Day theme.

The event begins on Friday morning with tours of the Corvette Assembly Plant followed by a scenic road tour excursion to Ft. Knox to tour the Patton Museum of Armor and enjoy lunch at Fort Knox on base. This activity is limited to only 68 participants by pre-registration and is a “drive your own car” excursion.

Saturday’s activities showcase participants in Corvettes with an opportunity to be a part of Bowling Green ’s Veterans Day Parade! We encourage any interested participants to pre-register for this activity to help in the coordination of the parade.

The afternoon will offer a guided tour of the Museum and a “free” scenic road tour through the beautiful Kentucky countryside! Drive your Corvette or non Corvette automobile and strap in for a leisurely adventure you will want to be sure and take part in.

The day’s activities close with a memorable banquet in the Museum’s Skydome and will give participants a chance to mix and mingle in a setting filled with Corvettes – so bring your camera. Be sure to pre-register for the banquet when making your event plans.

We look forward to having you visit us for this event and wish you a safe trip.
